the turmeric came in capsules in sealed plastic containers I started taking it right away 2 a.m. 2 p.m. before bed in 3 days my back and hips were happier. I needed to let them know that my body reacts negatively to herbs and supplements that create too much heat and that I need to start with very small amounts of the Turmeric and increase the amount very gradually to evaluate whether or not my body can tolerate its use.
