Lots of turmeric bottles show a big number. 1,000mg. Sometimes more. It looks strong, but that number can trick you. A big dose of weak turmeric is still weak. If only 2 to 6% is real curcumin, the big number means almost nothing. Think of a tall glass of watered-down juice. It looks like a lot, but there's barely any juice in it.
